Examples of our Successes
It is difficult to differentiate HR
consulting companies. What makes us unique is our innovative solutions
and our rapid response. Below are some examples of our
successes.
Recruiting for a Telecom Start Up
Problem
Our client, Alloptic, a fiber optic start-up need to rapidly
grow from 8 employees to over 60 employees within 5 months.
The company had just relocated to the SF Bay Area and had no
name recognition.
Solution
AchieveOne placed our founder and a consultant on-site
for this crucial project. The objectives were to
create and set up the whole recruiting process and build a
company image for enticing employees. Here is what we
were able to accomplish:
- We were one of the first in the SF Bay
area to implement a moving advertising billboard to
build company name and attract employees. This
produced an excellent ROI.
- Developed unique recruitment advertising
that included print, movie theater, and radio.
- Developed a low cost system to record and
track applicants.
- Planned
and conducted training for executives/managers on
recruiting (interviewing, selection, reference checking,
and hiring).
- Went from 8 to 60 employees in just
5 months during the height of the employee shortage in the
SF Bay Area (Summer 2000).
Unique Compensation Program
Problem
Our client, Blaze Network Products, wanted to develop a
quarterly pay for performance compensation plan to reward
employees for their achievements. A secondary goal was
to realign all the employees compensation due to inequities as
a result of their rapid growth.
Solution
AchieveOne in collaboration with OneStopHR
developed a unique and customized pay for performance plan
named the PBCP. We also conducted a salary survey.
We
accomplished the following:
- We developed a unique tracking form,
developed all the communication pieces for management and
the employees, and provided all the training.
- We conducted a job analysis, job matching
and ran a salary survey report matching our client to
competitive companies.
- We developed a comprehensive report on
current salaries, competitive salaries, and
recommendations on how to adjust each employees
compensation.
- Client implemented the program and made
necessary adjustments to employee's compensation.
HR for a Start-up
Problem
Our client, iiNetworks, needed to create a whole HR process
from scratch.
Solution
Working directly with the CEO and executive staff, AchieveOne
developed and implemented a whole HR department. Here is what
we were able to
accomplish:
- Developed an employee manual along
with a set of policies and procedures.
- Developed a complete recruiting strategy
and plan.
- Ensured
compliance with various Federal, State and local
employment laws (ADA, EEO, FSLA, FMLA, FEHA, etc.).
- Developed an organizational chart
complete with job titles and job descriptions.
